My Life as a Sixth Grader
My name is Leslie Alvarez. I am 12 years old and I am in 6th grade. I have learned a lot in this school. I have one sister in this school. Oh, I almost forgot I go to Griffin Middle School. I live with my mom and dad. I have 3 pets. My family is really close.
My most memorable moment is in Ms.Madrid/Mr.Schlanger class when we ate pie that Ms.Madrid made for us to eat. The pie was cherry. This is the most memorable moment because now Ms.Madrid is in 7th grade. That class was a very special to me for her to make it. My most difficult moment was when it was the first day of school and went to the wrong class, because it was a blue day and not a silver day. A lot of students got lost but I was the one that got lost the most, because it was the first day of school and the school was so big, and I did not know the school very well, but I was very scared also because nobody in the school that I went to the same class as me. This is my most difficult moment. If the teacher would have not helped me I would have never found the class. My most fun day was when we had people signing our yearbooks that people and teachers bought, and see how we looked at the beginning of the school year. Also just to laugh at other people but also to look at our selves. This day was fun to me because we got to spend time with our friends and just have a good time.
My most embarrassing moment was when I fell down the stairs when I was getting check out of school. The reason that I fell down from the stair was because my shoe lasses were not tied and I did not see so I stepped on them and I fell. The good thing was that there was a matt and It was where I fell. So, it did not heart at all. This was my most embarrassing moment because a councilor saw when I fell down the stairs. This is why it is my embarrassing moment. It was at the begging of the school year so it has been a while. The person who most influential me was Mr.Clark. He used to be my teacher so he said if I ever have a problem to go to him. When I always had a problem I always went to him. This is why I choose Mr.Clark that he influenced me the most. The person who helped me was one of the administrators. He gave my dad a packet to study with him so I can do better and pass the CRCT. This is why he was the one who helped me the most.
The scariest part of 6th grade was when Mr. Bennett was telling us a scary story but he did not want to finish the rest of it because then they were going to have to send student to the councilors, because they were going to cry.
The best part of 6th grade overall was when all of the students had to change teachers or some had to stay with the same teachers. This is the best part of 6th grade for me because we got to meet new people make friends. The worst part about 6th grade was when we had to take the CRCT and we had to pass the CRCT if your grades can not help you. This is why I choose this as my worst part of 6th grade for me.

My Life As A 6th Grader
My name is Stephanie Galdamez and this is my life as a sixth grader which was last year. Most memorable was when I met a whole lot of people in sixth grade. And now they became so trustful friends. My funniest and favorite was in field day because I spend the day with my friends. My favorite was when I went to May Field when I got to taste there ice cream.
My most embarrassing one was when I got lost the first day of school when I went to Dr. Etta in second block instead of first block. My most difficult was when we did culture fair I did France and it was hard because we had to gather up a lot of information then we had to present. The most influential one was when I helped Mrs. Clark get everything off her walls to put the smart board on she only gave me ONE piece of candy but I didn’t care because I knew she was grateful.
My worst time was when my friends wanted me to skip but I didn’t because I knew we would get caught. My best time is when I get to school and learn and hang out with my friends. I have learned a lot this year that I can’t even explain it I have grown about 2 inches. And I could be a better person by listening in class and doing my work.
Sixth grade was exciting, but I am glad it is over and I hope I do better in seventh grade. So, Seventh Grade, Here I come!!!

Life as a 6th grader!!
By: Alex Hernandez
Hi my name is Alex, I am 11 years old and I go to griffin middle school. And every day I go to griffin middle school I live the 6th grade life. I am really glad it’s over and I’m ready for 7th grade.
The most memorable memory was when I got my 1st report card for the first time in 6th grade. And when I got my first paws pass. The most difficult was when I took my first test and when I got my classes. The most fun/favorite were when I went to Mayfield field trip, well just when we went to Rayon Park. The most embarrassing was when I forgot my shirt and I was at school with just a little under shirt.
The most helpful was when I helped a kid who couldn’t speak English get to his classes. The best was when I passed the CRCT and the ESOL test and also when I got my vacations. The worst was when I got a 50% in one of my tests.
I have grown a lot and learned that you should not talk back to a teacher. Sixth grade was fun but now I look forward to doing better next year.

My life as a sixth grader was fun. The most memorable thing I remember is that I had fun in Mrs. Kars class. My favorite thing was we use to talk in connections. The most embarrassing thing was when I got pantsed on field day. Most difficult was learning language arts. The most influential was Dr. Woodyard and Mrs. Gonzalez. The most helpful teachers were Dr. Etta and Mrs. Holloway. The worst thing was when I got in trouble. Best thing is that I got to have fun with my teachers. My attitude changed a lot. My life lesson was that if you want attention, so don’t talk back to teachers.

Lyvan’s 6TH Grade Memories
My name is lyvan Roman and I’ll be telling you my six grad memories. There are so many memories, but I’ll start with most memorable.
My most memorable memory was when we had to dress up like the 70’s, because Mrs. Etta had a big afro and he was dancing. My memory for most fun was, when we had to eat lunch on the lawn, because I went outside and played with friends. My most embarrassing moment was when I fell down and crashed into the fence in the dizzy bat challenge. My most difficult moment was when Mrs. Atkinson told me to make a movie, and I’m not good with technology. My most influential moment was when I wanted to stop working and Mrs. Etta said to not give up. My most helpful moment was when I couldn’t open my locker and Mrs. Etta opened it for me.
I have grown in a way because I checked out the most books that I have ever done, and read them. I have learned that if I never give up I can accomplish anything. I look forward to learning new things next year.
