Dear Students,

This our fourth and final quarter for this school year! Below are the standards and tasks to accomplish this quarter:

ELA6W2/ESOL6.8.4:EXPOSITORY WRITING- Description and Explanation. SWBAT …Produce a multi paragraph that describes or explains ideas or concepts.

 ESOL6.4.2/ELA6W1: Writing Organization -SWBAT…  Use traditional structure for conveying information in chronological order 

 ESOL 6.6.5 /ELA6C1:  Writing Conventions -SWBAT… Apply grammatical and mechanical conventions in writing.

 ESOL6.7.16/ELA6RI:  COMPREHENSION/LITERARY TEXT - SWBAT …Recognize, read, comprehend, and analyze various literary forms (myths and legend)

Summative Assessment:    40%                                                 A     -       90 – 100%

Formative Assessment:     30%                                                 B      -       80 – 89%

Class work/Homework:      20%                                                 C      -      74 – 79%                     

 Participation:                    10%                                                 D      -      70 – 73%

                                                                                                F      -       69 and below

 Any class work not completed at school becomes homework in addition to the weekly homework assignments. Students will use planner to keep up with all homework as well as class work and due dates for projects.
