EXPOSITORY WRITING TASKS

Dear Students,

Below are the tasks to complete for this unit and you will be required to

• Communicate information, ideas, and concepts necessary for academic success in both 6^th Grade Language Arts and SS

• Demonstrate competence in the use of research and technology to produce a multi-paragraph expository writing and/or illustration with the appropriate organizational structure.
• Apply knowledge of common textual features (e.g., Headings, Sub-headings, Graphics, and Captions).

TASK 1

Read (Expository Text: ELA 6W1) and illustrate to show your comprehension of the location of selected features of Europe (SS6G8)

TASK 2

Illustrate/write about the Environmental Issues in Europe (SS6G9), and include the following graphic features (Headings, Sub headings, Graphic, and Captions)
