Welcome to all my new students. Our assignments for this week include:
1. Getting your syllabus returned and signed by parents.
2. Finishing your Culture Kit Questionaire. Due the 14th of August for Blue Days and the 17th ofAugust for Silver.
We will be having the Formative Assessment on the 14th of August for the Blue Classes and the 17th of August for the Silver Classes.
3. This week we will also begin reviewing key geographic terms.
4. Begin studying for your Summative Assessment. You will be quizzed over the key terms and two essay questions. Due dates will be given later.
Key Terms include: World View, Culture, economy, civics, history, geography, compass rose, hemisphere, latitude, longitude, direction, exact location, approximate location, Prime Meridian, and equator.
