Expository Essays on Government Topic

During the second quarter, the ESOL students have been focusing on expository writing through a social studies topic. The students have been researching how the local government works and written an expository essay of what they learned. All essays had a government theme and common topics were “The Three Branches of Government” and “The Bill of Rights”. Students followed the research and writing process to find information and produced their essays. They really did a great job! Some of their creations displayed in the 8A pod hallway.
